“The band was awesome! We were thrilled. Your lead singer is off the hook. Numerous people said she was a dead ringer vocally for Aretha Franklin. We were so happy with the music. Your rendition of True Companion was beautiful. I know it’s kind of a cheesy song, but it didn’t sound at all that way when you did it. Not sure if you saw, but I was crying. It was so beautiful and conveyed so much of the emotion I was thinking that night. We absolutely noticed all the little touches you did. The fact that on your own you decided to do a U2 song and chose Angel of Harlem no less was amazing. That is one of my favorite songs and I always joke to Allen that I’m his angel of Harlem. How you knew this had special meaning to me, I don’t know, but it was really special for me that you did this. All of our special request songs were great. New York, NY was awesome. This band is one of the best things to happen to our wedding [June 2011]. Rhonda and the musicians are spectacular. They’re not just a “wedding band”. It’s like having a LIVE concert at your wedding.
They created the perfect blend of music that fit into the background as people ate and talked, and then turned up the volume playing hits that had everyone on the dance floor. A few of our friends are professional musicians too, and they were practically bowing down to Rhonda when she sang. Our guests were a range of cool young people to older family members – and everyone’s response was, “That was the best band EVER.”
We can’t say enough how meaningful their performance was to us. We originally gave them a long list of our favorite songs, and expected to only hear a few. Well, they played nearly all of them. And they are the NICEST people too. You could really tell that they love music and they love playing together, which means a lot when it’s your wedding. Working with good people is so important. We even had some guests inquire about hiring her for their upcoming weddings, and wanted to get on her mailing list to hear her play around the city (you should do that, too).
We also requested at least 45 minutes of Jewish music for the hora, and they played that perfectly. We were SO impressed, and the hora was so much fun.

“From start to finish, our experience with Kazz Music was absolutely perfect. The band leader (and saxophonist) Joe was our point-of-contact and he was the most professional, responsive, friendly wedding vendor we encountered during the whole planning process. He was extremely organized and accommodating every step of the way. He even offered to run emergency errands for us on the big day, if necessary.
The band as a unit was incredible. They learnt and played our special requests, which sounded incredible. They compiled an incredibly fun, funky, playlist within our guidelines. They got every single one of our guests up and dancing. By he end of the night no fewer than twenty guests had come up to my husband and I to say how amazing the wedding was and how incredible the band was. It was such a wonderful experience to see the guests dancing all night to the live music from many musical eras including Motown, the 70s, 80s, 90s, and today’s contemporary styles of music. Guests young and old thoroughly enjoyed the evening’s entertainment as the musicality of the band was exceptional!
