Weddings

Putting together a wedding is a huge undertaking. We know. We’ve played at hundreds of them.  There are many bands that can provide great music, but our emphasis on planning sets us apart from most other bands.  We will make the music planning easy and fun for you so that you can focus on all of the other details. Allow us to be your one-stop wedding music resource!

Our detailed Wedding Planner document covers EVERYTHING you will need to think about in terms of music for your wedding. This level of detail often means that any sort face to face meeting isn’t even necessary. We can do it all over the phone or via email at your convenience. Here are some of our musical offerings:

Ceremonies – Classical piano is a great option for ceremonies. Our pianist, Andrea Shaut, is classically trained and is the accompanist for the world famous West Point Military Academy Glee Club.  We can also have an instrumentalist or vocalist play with Andrea if you’d like. Not sure what kind of music you want for your ceremony? Ask us. We can give you all kinds of song ideas from traditional, to not-so-traditional selections.

Cocktail Hours – Our popular offerings are a solo pianist, and a jazz trio of horn, guitar, and bass.  If you have something else in mind, let us know, and we will use our large network of musicians to get you the right music for your dream wedding.

Reception – As the premier Hudson Valley Wedding Band, The Kazz Music Orchestra can be sized between 6 and 9 musicians for your reception.  For your four hour reception, our full band plays non-stop other than during your speeches/toasts/blessings, and during the main entree for dinner.  Most other bands take more breaks than that, but we give you the most music for your reception!  We carefully work with your venue and caterer to ensure that transitions from eating to dancing, to cake cutting, and everything in between are supported by the right styles of music.  Come see us live, or speak to our past couples that we’ve played for to find out how we can make your wedding magical and one that your guests will talk about for years to come!
